WHAT LED NATE TO BECOMING AN AUTHOR

Growing up, Nate was very blessed with amazing parents, coaches and mentors that inspired and assisted him in pursuit of his goal to play professional football. After six years of playing in the arena football league, Nate knew he wanted to help youth athletes pursue their athletic dreams. Nate was fortunate to have a long playing career that culminated with enshrinements into the Fairfax High School Sports Hall of Fame and the Ferrum College Alumni Sports Hall of Fame.

Nate opened the doors on the new location for Daniels Sports Performance in December 2019, and three months later, in March 2020, pandemic lockdowns began and the Governor of Virginia closed businesses in multiple sectors, including gyms and fitness facilities.

The pandemic was a very trying time for all businesses in the fitness industry to navigate mandatory closures, and many businesses didn’t survive. However, Nate was able to use that time to move the business and personal brand forward by writing his first children’s book, So You Want To Be A Pro?
